World Binturong Day

A wonderful prehensile tailed mammal from South East Asia, now housed in many UK zoos. Linton Zoo was one of the first to invest in this species. Also known as the bear cat it's actually a member of the Viverridae taxa.

Very popular with visitors and zoo staff due to it's warming face and amazing popcorn like smelly.
